Replacing the Philips WelcomeEye Monitor Speaker

You can't hear visitors or the bell doesn't work anymore? Your monitor's speaker needs to be replaced. Before any intervention or maintenance, please turn off each component of your video doorphone and place yourself on a suitable surface so as not to scratch the screen

Materials needed:

Phillips screwdriver, plastic spatula, precision pliers, B-7000 glue tube

Tutorial steps:

Step 1: Remove the rear monitor stand

Turn the monitor over.
Remove the 4 rear screws from the monitor using the Phillips screwdriver.

Insert the plastic spatula on the lower part of the screen and slightly lever it.
Remove the rear panel of the monitor.

Step 2: Remove the Speaker

The speaker is located at the bottom right of the monitor and is glued to the chassis.

Remove the speaker connector with the precision tweezers by pulling lightly on the connector
Slightly peel off the black holding strip.

Slide the plastic spatula over the bottom of the speaker and pry it off slightly
Remove the speaker

Step 3: Speaker Replacement

Using B-7000 glue, apply a strip of glue around the speaker support. Be careful not to overdo it.
Then glue the new speaker in place of the defective one.
