Replacement of the main electronic board of the Philips WelcomeEye door station

The door station of your intercom doesn't want to work or ring anymore? It will be necessary to replace the motherboard of your door station. Before any intervention or maintenance, please turn off the power to each component of your video doorphone and place yourself on a suitable surface so as not to scratch the lens

Phillips screwdriver, plastic spatula, precision pliers

Tutorial steps:

Step 1: Remove the rear bracket

Turn over the Turntable
Remove the 4 rear screws from the door station using the Phillips screwdriver.
Be careful, these 4 screws can be located under a protective rubber.
Carefully remove the black back cover.

Step 2: Disconnect the microphone

Gently disconnect the microphone connector by pulling it towards you with a pair of precision pliers. Be careful not to pull on the wires.

Step 3: How to remove a connector

To safely remove the connector, hold it with the precision pliers and make slight right and left movements.

Step 4: Disconnect the video circuit board

Gently disconnect the connector from the video circuit board by pulling it towards you with precision pliers. Be careful not to pull on the wires.

Step 5: Disconnect the RFID reader

Gently disconnect the connector from the RFID reader by pulling it towards you with a pair of precision pliers. Be careful not to pull on the wires.

Step 6: Disconnect the Speaker

Gently disconnect the speaker connector by pulling it towards you with a pair of precision pliers. Be careful not to pull on the wires.

Step 7: Reconnect the elements

Remove the circuit board from its slot using the precision pliers.
Replace the electronic board. Be careful to respect the passage of the cables so as not to pinch them.
Reconnect the components by following steps 2 through 6.

Step 8: Replace the rear support

Reposition the rear support of the door station by tightening the 4 screws previously removed in step 1.
The replacement is complete.
