Replacement of the lens for the Philips WelcomeEye door station

Is the lens of your door station damaged or scratched? It will be necessary to replace it. Before any intervention or maintenance, please turn off the power to each component of your video doorphone and place yourself on a suitable surface so as not to scratch the lens

Materials needed:

Anti-theft keypad, Phillips screwdriver

Tutorial steps:

Step 1: Remove the aluminum front panel

Unscrew the anti-theft screw located on the bottom of the door station with the anti-theft key
Remove the aluminum front panel

Step 2: Remove the black front panel

Turn over the front aluminium panel to have access to its interior
Unscrew the 4 screws holding the black front panel with the screwdriver
Be careful not to lose the screws
Turn over the front aluminum facade to have access to its exterior
Remove the black front panel of the door station

Step 3: Lens replacement

Remove the old lens
Reposition the lens seal in its location
Reposition the new lens

Step 4: Replace the black front panel

Make sure the horizontal joint is properly positioned in its housing
Ensure that the call button backlight diffuser is properly positioned in its housing
Reposition the black front panel of the door station

Step 5: Putting the front panel back in place.

Turn the aluminum front panel over to gain access to the interior while maintaining the black front panel
Tighten the 4 screws of the black front panel
Make sure there is no gap between the black front panel and the aluminum front panel
Put the front panel back on the street plate
Screw in the anti-theft screw
The replacement is completed
