Connecting photocells to an AVLO card

This tutorial will show you how to connect photocells to an AVLO electronic board.

Foreword

The tutorial below will show a connection with the current 114359 oval photocells.

The old 104359 (Extel) or 114359 rectangular photocells will be compatible with an AVLO electronic board.

The connection will be identical except for the 104359 photocells.

Photocell connection 104359 and 750534

Remove the shunt between GND and PHO on the electronic board. Connect the +24V of the photocells to the +24V of the board. Connect photocell GND to board GND. Connect the NC of photocell RX to PHO on the board. Place a shunt between GND and COM of the receiving photocell.

Photocell connection 114359

Remove the shunt between GND and PHO on the electronic board. Connect the + of the photocells to the +24V of the board. Connect the – of the photocells to the board’s GND. Connect the NC of photocell RX to PHO on the board. Place a shunt between – and COM of the receiving photocell.
