Have you changed your internet box and are having trouble connecting your smartphone to your Philips WelcomeEye connect 1 monitor?
Here's a quick and easy procedure for carrying out this operation
Step 1: Check the connection status of the monitor
First of all, it will be necessary to check the connection status of the monitor.
Enter the monitor settings.
Then Wifi.
Then Info.
Step 2: Check that the wifi has been reset
Make sure that the second icon represents
If not, please click on reset wifi
Wait until the second icon is displayed.
Reminder: Regularly press the Philips display to prevent it from going to sleep.
Step 3: Preparing for connection
Now take your smartphone and install the “Philips WelcomeEye” application available on the AppStore or googlePlay store.
During the whole process, if the application asks you for authorizations, please allow them.
Click on the “+”.
Click on “My device is not currently connected to the Internet”.
Select WelcomeEye Connect 1 video door entry system.
Scroll to the bottom of the application page and press “next”.
The application will ask you to scan the monitor QR code located on the back of the Philips monitor.
Press “Next”.
Turn your screen over.
Scan the QR code on the back of your Philips monitor.
If you have difficulty scanning the QR code, please improve the surrounding lighting and move slightly away from the QR code to improve focusing.
If the QR code is correct, the application should find your monitor. Click on “Add”.
WARNING, the Philips Connect intercom is only compatible with a 2.4Ghz wifi network. Please make sure that your smartphone is connected to this type of wifi.
Please ensure that the name of your Internet box is entered in the first line. In our example, it’s called AVI.
If no internet box appears, please make sure that the Philips WelcomeEye application is authorized to use your smartphone’s geolocation and that your smartphone is connected to your internet box’s wifi.
In the second line, enter the wifi key for your Internet box. (Make sure it is no more than 18 characters long).
Step 3.1: Where to find the ORANGE operator Wifi key
LiveBox 4 = The wifi key is visible by clicking on the i on the front of your Livebox.
LiveBox 5 = The wifi key is located on the identification card and also on the label on the back of your Livebox.
LiveBox 6 = The wifi key is visible in the wifi settings accessible from the front screen.
Step 3.2: Where to find the SFR operator Wifi key
SFR NB6/NB7/NB8 = The wifi key is located on the label on the back of your SFRBox.
Step 3.3: Where to find the Bouygues operator Wifi key
Bbox Miami/ 4K = The wifi key is located on the label on the back of your Bbox. This is the code on the WPA line.
Step 3.4: Where to find the Freebox operator Wifi key
Valid for Freebox Delta/Pop/Revolution/mini/One/4G+/Crystal
Please download the “Freebox Connect” application available on the AppStore and the Google Playstore.
Select the model of your Freebox and identify yourself.
The wifi key of your Freebox is located in the menu “My Wifi access”.
Make sure you have entered your wifi key and press “next”.
Step 4: Connect your smartphone to the monitor.
This message will prompt you to connect your smartphone to your monitor.
Minimize the Philips WelcomeEye application and go to your smartphone’s WiFi settings.
Your smartphone must detect a Wifi transmitter named UID…
Special case IOS.
When using an IPhone, please temporarily deactivate “cellular data” and set “never” in “auto connect to shares”.
You can reactivate these functions once your monitor is online.
Android special case
On some Android interfaces, it may be necessary to temporarily disable “mobile data” and “switch to better WiFi networks”.
You can reactivate these functions once your monitor is online.
Connect your smartphone to the UID monitor…
If you see an indication that there is no Internet access, please validate the connection.
Your smartphone must no longer be connected to your Internet box, but must be connected to the monitor.
If your smartphone prompts you for a password, please enter the password present in the monitor’s login interface beginning with cg… (in our example, the password will be cg0932e2d9a).

Make sure your smartphone is connected to the monitor’s UID (an indication that there is no internet connection will be displayed).
Then return to the Philips WelcomeEye application.
Back in the application, press “next”.
Step 5: Connect your monitor to your Internet box
Your monitor will try to connect to your Internet box.
A countdown will appear on your smartphone. During this countdown, please enter the monitor settings.
Then Wifi.
Then Info.
The second icon now represents a flashing Wifi icon. Press the screen regularly to prevent it from going to sleep, and wait for the icon to become fixed.
If, at the end of the countdown, the second icon is still flashing, this means that a wifi error has occurred (non-compatible wifi or wifi key entry error).
Once you’ve seen the Wifi icon on your monitor, it should be found by the application.
Select it and click on “Add”.
Choose a name for your Philips monitor and click “Save”.
Change the default Philips monitor password to a personal password.
Remember: the default password is 123456. You can’t use it.
Reminder: The password cannot contain two consecutive identical digits (e.g. 665432 is incorrect).
Your monitor is now connected.
Please click on your monitor to see the door station live.
