How do video doorphones work with ANDROID and IOS phones?
Connected videophones are simply video intercoms on which we’ve connected the screens to your Internet box so that they can be connected to the smartphone application. You will be able to see the images on your phone and interact with the visitor. These videophones are available in wired and wireless versions.

The videophone Extel Wave 1 is connected and wireless. It allows to connect the screen to the Power box of the wireless board at a maximum distance of 350m. This model works with the Extel Connect application.
Extel Wave 2 wireless : ref. 720321
The videophone Extel Wave 2 is an evolution of version 1 with an even simpler installation, as there is no longer a Power Box to manage the intercom panel power supply. The maximum distance between the board and intercom panel is 350m.
The wired versions

Extel Connect 2 wired: ref. 720324
When electricity is already connected between the house and the gate, a wired videophone is easy to install. This model is connected and works with the Extel Connect application to manage your visitors remote.
Extel Code connect wired: ref. 720320
The videophone connected Extel code connect integrates a digicode directly into intercom panel. Ideal for preventing lost keys or badges! This model also works with the Extel Connect application.
Older models
Extel Connect wired: ref. 720308
The wired videophone Extel connect is now an older model, as it was the first version of the connected models. With its white screen it is a design model. This model can work with a modular power supply.
Which videophone to choose?
To choose a videophone, as with any product, you need to ask yourself a few questions:
- Do I already have a sheath between my house and the gate?
- What is the unobstructed distance between the screen location and intercom panel?
