This model of electric strike can be installed on any type of exterior door or gate. It is compatible with all flush-mounted locks on the market.
The electric lock can be used on left- or right-hand opening doors.
Your strike is reversible right/left. If you need to reverse it, unscrew the plate, reverse the plate horizontally, reverse the mechanism vertically and screw the assembly back together. (Photo non-contractual but explains the principle).
A strike plate adjustable to door configuration
The strike bolt is adjustable: to facilitate installation, the jaw can be adjusted. Unscrew the screws and adjust the jaw so that the lock bolt is correctly locked.
The principle of mechanical memory
Mechanical memory: tripping is permanent after the electrical impulse, closing resumes once the door has been opened and closed again.
You can keep the door open at all times while you're working.
If necessary, use the manual release lever: in the open position, the strike remains permanently released (for work, removals, etc.) until the mechanical memory function is restored.
