Yes, you, there, choosing your future gate operator, we’re talking to you! It’s normal to hesitate between different solutions. This is not a purchase to be made lightly.
So to guide you in your choice, here are two or three things we’d like to tell you about the solidity and sturdiness of Avidsen gate motorization solutions.
The secret of our engines: a robust mechanism
On our Orea 500 (ref. 114457) and Orane 550 (ref. 114460) models, the motors have a unique strength on the market that makes them a real asset strength and durability.
As shown in the diagram, the main gear inside the motor is made of metal, not plastic. It’s a material choice that guarantees the solidity of our solution. Thanks to this “little” detail, the Avidsen motors mentioned above will last longer.
The secret of our sliding gate racks
With our Orea 500 (ref. 114457) and Orea 550 (ref. 11460) models, designed for sliding gates with the addition of toothed racks, this is where our solutions stand out. Our racks are made of metal AND nylon.
Why this double assembly?
-
- With a nylon-only rack: less robust than metal, but maintenance-free;
-
- With an all-metal rack, the output gearwheel is made of metal: the result is a metal-to-metal movement. This device requires regular maintenance. For example, since the racks are outdoors, they need to be greased regularly. For example, when it rains, you need to grease again.
With our nylon racks reinforced by a metal bar inside, you can combine the advantages of each type of rack without the disadvantages.
